March, leading into April, has been a busy time here at Datapath.io.
Among all these steps forward, we have also had some exciting new advancements on the technical side of our system. These updates are to ensure we can provide customers with the most value when it comes to their content delivery needs.
We would like to share the following:
The first update to mention is our load balancer. We have updated and released our new version. Typically, a load balancer serves to distribute traffic across multiple servers.
The Datapath.io load balancer functions to distribute the network traffic across different elastic IP’s. This is a process which is typically manual, but with the implementation of the load balancer, traffic will automatically be balanced across elastic IP’s.
Released on AWS Ireland
Datapath.io has now released in AWS Ireland. As we recently launched in US East 1, this is another big step in our expansion efforts.
Our aim is to provide global coverage for our customers using AWS. Delivering the fastest possible Internet traffic to their globally distributed users.
Update to Rules
We have updated how to create a rule within the Datapath.io system. To get an overview of this process, you can take a look at our video here.
A rule for the Datapath.io system allows customers to determine the constraints of their Internet traffic. This means you can determine how you would like your traffic to perform, and the Datapath.io system will automatically deliver.
For example, if you would like traffic to arrive to your end users in Germany under 50 ms, you would create a rule with this as the requirement. The result would be Datapath.io delivering your traffic at this requirement.
As we expand our offering, we would be delighted for you to follow our story. If we are interesting or could provide value, feel free to sign up for Datapath.io.
